SOAPPCT.25 Version 2.2 ReleasedPlant Design and Costing Software for Distributed Generation ProjectsPalo Alto, December 20, 2002: EPRI has announced the release of SOAPP-CT.25 WorkStation Version 2.2. The SOAPP-CT.25 software is used to screen opportunities, evaluate feasibility, optimize design criteria, and prepare proposals for distributed generation projects. It helps users design projects for optimal payback, return, and risk mitigation with accurate modeling of site-specific performance and emissions. SOAPP-CT.25 generates detailed plant cost, emissions, and performance estimates, supporting a wide range of gas turbine models up to 30 MW and using current, manufacturer-supplied data. It allows the user to configure the plant to site-specific conditions and requirements and generates detailed plant performance and emissions estimates, equipment lists, project schedule, bill of materials and capital cost estimates, O&M cost estimates, and financial analyses. Additional details and sample output of the software are available on the web site at http://www.soapp.com/soapp/dg. New Features in Version 2.2 include:
