SOAPP Announces a New Software Product for Distributed Generation Project Analysis: SOAPP-CT.25
Plant Design and Costing Software for Project Development
Chicago, March 11, 1999: SOAPP, LLC of Chicago, Illinois has released SOAPP-CT.25, a new software product that provides seamlessly integrated technical, cost, and financial analysis of distributed generation power and cogeneration projects using gas turbines.
SOAPP-CT.25 is used to screen opportunities, evaluate feasibility, optimize design criteria, and prepare proposals for distributed generation projects. It helps users design projects for optimal payback, return, and risk mitigation with accurate modeling of site-specific performance and emissions.
SOAPP-CT.25 generates detailed plant cost, emissions, and performance estimates, supporting a wide range of gas turbine models up to 25 MW and using current, manufacturer-supplied data. It allows the user to configure the plant to site-specific conditions and requirements and generates detailed plant performance and emissions estimates, equipment lists, project schedule, bill of materials and capital cost estimates, O&M cost estimates, and financial analyses.
SOAPP-CT.25 also generates bottom line-oriented information such as total and working capital requirements; monthly capital outlay schedule; depreciation schedule; debt service schedule; operating cash flows; income statement; $/MWh; benefit/cost summary; avoided demand, energy, and thermal charges; and market demand, energy, and thermal revenues.
SOAPP-CT.25 helps users evaluate the costs and benefits of distributed generation opportunities, solving either for return on equity, including IRR and payback period, or for bus bar electricity costs, using the project-specific design and estimates it creates with every analysis.
SOAPP-CT.25 has earned Microsoft's designation as a product designed for Microsoft Windows NT® and Windows 98®. SOAPP-CT.25 is also compatible with Microsoft Windows 95®.
SOAPP provides leading edge power generation technology products and services focused on establishing a competitive edge in the rapidly evolving energy industry. SOAPP develops and markets the award-winning SOAPP family of software products and consults with clients around the world to identify and evaluate strategies, evaluate new power generation and repowering alternatives, and provide risk mitigation for applying advanced competitive technologies.
SOAPP-CT.25 was developed by SOAPP, LLC under the sponsorship of the Gas Research Institute and EPRI. For more information on SOAPP-CT.25, call 1-888-473-7745 (1.312.845.2222 for international calls), e-mail email@example.com, or fax 1.312.845.2225.
